Helping voters get to the polls is a top priority as the June 7 primary general election approaches, said Al Womble, president of the Iowa Black Democratic Caucus.
"We've got to do more to unite as a community and decide what are some of the things that we can change," Womble said. "And for me, one of those is making sure that we rally around more Black candidates, get more Black candidates to run and decide how are we going to organize to help them win."
