Sankofa Literacy & Empowerment Group book drive

Sankofa Literacy & Empowerment Group is starting a book drive for February in honor of Black History Month. The organization will be accepting book donations that focus on Black stories and experiences for their “Pages of Power” book drive. The book drive will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Saturday in February. February 1, 8, 15, and 22, at 900 Keo Way, Studio 117 in Des Moines. If you cannot bring in your donations during those timeframes, you can email hello@abenasankofa to schedule a drop-off at a different time.
