Benefit concert for Grubb YMCA youth development programs

Broadway artist Roosevelt Credit will return to Des Moines for the Life Every Voice in Love benefit concert. The program will also feature Simon Estes as Honorary Master of Ceremonies. The concert will start at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Plymouth Church in Des Moines. The event will directly benefit Grubb YMCA youth development programs with a celebration of Black spirituals, gospel, and Broadway music. Churches from across the urban and metro areas will collaborate to perform several Gospel songs to close out the event. No ticket is required to attend the event. A love offering or a donation is encouraged to raise money for the cause.
