Hy-Vee, which operates more than 285 grocery stores in eight Midwestern states, wants more minority-owned and women-owned businesses to apply for its quarterly Best of Local Brands summit on March 1. Since the summit began in 2021, more than 125 new brands have been selected and made available to Hy-Vee customers.
Hy-Vee is looking for retail-ready products, including grocery, produce, deli, general merchandise, frozen, dairy and health and beauty care. Hy-Vee is accepting submissions for the summit through the Jan. 23 deadline. Selected suppliers will participate in 15 to 30 minute virtual presentations on March 1.
