Nominations now open for MLK Jr. legacy achievement awards
Nominations open for MLK Awards! Recognize outstanding achievements and service at the celebration ceremony in 2024. Deadline: Dec. 10.
The Commission on the status of African-Americans has announced that they are now accepting nominations for two awards in honor of the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. The two awards are the MLK Achievement Award and the MLK Service Project Award. Students in grades first through eighth are eligible to enter for the MLK Call 2 Serve Award. Award recipients will be announced at the celebration on Sunday, Jan. 14. Nominations are open now until Sunday, Dec. 10.
