My City My Health announces ‘My City Talks’ event

Join My City My Health for ‘My City Talks: HIV Awareness’ at 6 p.m. on Dec. 6, in Des Moines.

My City My Health announced its first “My City Talks” event. This will be an ongoing series centered around various public health issues. The series will begin with discussing HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and Hepatitis. My City My Health has partnered with Stop HIV Iowa. The event will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at The Slow Down Coffee Company in Des Moines.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. RSVP here. The series will allow for important conversations within the community and education. Attendees will have the opportunity to be involved in the conversation as it is happening during a live recording of the My City My Health podcast.
