Local fifth graders selected to compete in a pitch competition
Exciting news! AbbaGabb Twinz, 11-year-old entrepreneurs, selected for Black and Brown Business Summit’s pitch competition.
Hip Hope announced that the AbbaGabb Twinz were selected to compete in the annual Athene Black and Brown Business Summit. The AbbaGabb Twinz are 11-year-old twins and the owners of the AbgT Shop, an online clothing and accessories store. Throughout their entrepreneurial journey, they have hosted their vendor booths and participated in various programs offered by Hip Hope Inc. The pitch competition for the Black and Brown Business Summit is Thursday, Apr. 18 at Athene in West Des Moines. Over 100 applications were submitted for the competition and only 7 businesses were selected.
