Ladie Lex Scented Candles will host a Christmas-themed Aroma & Art Party with an ugly sweater contest. The event will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, December 20, at the Holiday Inn Northwest, 4800 Merle Hay Road in Des Moines. It’s a 21+ event with candle making, canvas painting, food, music, a raffle, and more. The party is BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) so a glass will be provided for your beverage of choice. Tickets include all necessary materials, raffle entries, discounted shopping, and a swag bag. There will be a $100 prize for the best ugly sweater.
