The Iowa Democratic Black Caucus will hold is regular meeting from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. March 5 via Zoom. Register here. Book bans will be discussed. Special guest Jean Hessburg, public relations director for the Iowa State Education Association, will discuss Project Freedom To Read.

The caucus advocates for Black Iowans within the Iowa Democratic Party and works to educate, inspire and motivate Black communities to exercise their rights to engage in local, state and national political processes, according to its website.
