Fueling Hope Annual Gas Giveaway with Kwik Star to be held Jan. 19

The Fueling Hope Annual Gas Giveaway has announced a 3-year partnership with Kwik Star. Kwik Star pledged $25,000 over the next three years to help those in need, according to a press release. The gas giveaway will start at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 19. The location will be announced on the event day. The giveaway provides full gas tanks for those who need support.

“This event is about more than providing gas — it’s about fueling hope, spreading love and strengthening our community,” said Rev. Rob Johnson in a media release.

Johnson is the founder and organizer of the Fueling Hope Gas Giveaway. Other sponsors for the event include Molina Healthcare of Iowa, BH Management, Teamsters 238, IBEW Local 347, Iowa Unity Coalition, Creative Visions, Mercy One, DMACC, Back 2 School Iowa, Vision Leads, Corinthian Baptist Church, King of Kings Baptist Church, Iowa Public Health Association and others.
