CCDC selected to develop community plan for youth initiative

United Way selects CCDC to lead Safe & Thriving Youth initiative, dealing with at-risk youth and violence in Central Iowa.

The United Way of Central Iowa has selected Cultivating Culture Developing Communities to facilitate the Safe and Thriving Youth initiative. Rachel Rockwell and Tony Wilson are the leaders of the organization involved. CCDC will build a comprehensive community plan in order to address violence and at-risk youth in Central Iowa. The first meeting will take place from 1:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 15. The location of the gathering will be at the DMACC Urban Campus. This meeting will be a step forward in facilitating important community conversations focused on the safety of our youth.
