Vice President Kamala Harris returned to Des Moines on Friday, July 28, as a full slate of Republicans also visited Des Moines for the Iowa GOP Lincoln Dinner. Harris held a well-attended moderated discussion at Drake University and met with local leaders in the community to discuss the Biden-Harris administration’s “continued commitment to protecting reproductive freedom across America.” There have been ongoing legal battles surrounding Iowa’s recent six-week abortion ban.
