Urban Experience Magazine celebrates their 10 year anniversary
Urban Experience Magazine marks 10 years in 2025, uplifting Des Moines through stories, partnerships, and community impact
Urban Experience Magazine announced they are celebrating their 10th anniversary. The company was founded in 2015 by Roderick and Dwana Bradley. The magazine has left a lasting impact through uplifting and educating the Des Moines community. The digital edition of the magazine will be released on Wednesday, Jan. 8. To start the year, their January edition will be sponsored by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa. This will be their second collaboration with the organization. In addition to this, Urban Experience Magazine will also collaborate with other impactful organizations in the city that are making a difference. The company will highlight the Athene Black & Brown Small Business event, 10,000 Small Businesses Goldman Sachs, Iowa’s Healthiest State: Make It Ok Campaign, Iowa Juneteenth’s 35th Anniversary Celebration, UnityPoint Health, Above + Beyond Cancer, American Heart Association of Iowa, Alzheimer’s Association of Iowa, and various other Black-owned businesses in Iowa. “Our goal is to continue amplifying the stories of community members, organizations, and businesses, while offering valuable resources on health, education, arts, and culture,” said Dwana Bradley in a press release.
