Turner Construction Foundation hosts inaugural ‘Give Back Gala’
The Turner Construction Foundation gala will benefit community programs for underserved youth and will advance mental health initiatives.
The Turner Construction Company Foundation will host its inaugural “Give Back Gala,” on June 6, at Willow on Grand in West Des Moines. This flagship event is designed to fund scholarships and programs that reflect the foundation’s commitment to active caring, wellness, workforce readiness and diversity, equity and inclusion. The gala will support various initiatives including Iowa State University’s Science Bound Program, the University of Iowa’s Iowa Edge Program, UnityPoint’s Eyerly Ball Mental Health Awareness Program and ChildServe, according to a press release. These programs are central to the foundation’s mission to assist underserved youth and advance mental health initiatives, according to the press release.
“Our goal with the Give Back Gala is to create a lasting impact in our community, with a focus on youth and mental health,” said Zach Loy, vice president and general manager for the foundation. “This event is vital in supporting the future of the construction workforce and ensuring inclusive opportunities for underserved communities.”

The evening will feature a Silent Auction Gala, where guests will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of exclusive items and services. All proceeds will directly benefit the programs. Dueling Pianos will provide the entertainment.
