Rising Through the Fog of the Unknown

Election is done, fear of more change,
A criminal in office, causing strains.
The future looms, a fog-bound road,
With twists unseen and the path unknown.
Injustice roots so deep, so strong,
A world where right still battles wrong.
Yet social work, this field, lights up the way,
To lift, to serve, to heal another day.
Through resilience, we find our feet,
Bonded in care, we are each complete.
Attachment forms through threads we hold,
A fabric woven, so mighty and bold.
Through this work – support is given, freely shared,
With steady hands, each heart’s repaired.
For love and strength, in hearts, endure,
A light that guides us, strong and pure.
The weight of history calls to each of us,
Reminding us that true change, needs growth, takes trust.
In freedom’s name, we rise, we shout, we stand,
For hope, for justice, it remains in our hands.
