Pandemic Pet Peeves: Why Americans need to sit tf down

A tweet shocked me this week. “We’re all doomed to get omicron,” a doctor tweeted. I kept right on scrolling: out of swipe, out of mind. I hope she's wrong. A record number of children are hospitalized with COVID-19 and a record-breaking number of people have contracted COVID-19. Still, I reject doom. I reject giving up. I’m going to stay at home, wear an N95 and wait this wave out.
