National Prescription Drug Take Back Day
Safely dispose of unused medications during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day in Iowa on April 27.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety’s Office of Drug Control Policy announces the upcoming National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. This allows Iowans to bring in any medications that have not been used. The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, across the state. Iowans can participate in safely disposing of prescriptions and receive education about the dangers of drug abuse. In addition to the program, the DEA will also allow any vapes or e-cigarette devices to be collected if the batteries are removed.
