Hip Hope’s Many Shades of Colour Young Women’s Conference, “Living with Intentionality,” is March 1 for grades 6-12. Register now!

Hip Hope announced this year’s Many Shades of Colour Young Women’s conference. The theme for the conference this year is “Living with Intentionality” with keynote speaker Breanne Ward, a licensed mental health counselor. Co-chairs for the event are Valora James, Team Leader in Operations for Wellmark BCBS, and Valerie Jones, who also serves as a co-chair for Hip Hope’s Know Your Worth and Youth Pastor at Anchored InTruth Ministries in Edwardsville, IL. The event is geared towards young women in grades 6-12. The conference will occur from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Mar. 1 at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. This year’s workshop topics include leadership, finances, academics, mentorship, and social/emotional. The event aims to provide valuable tools and resources to young women to inspire them to be the best versions of themselves by addressing issues that threaten to challenge their success. The conference will consist of notable speakers, interactive workshops, and programs to help inspire, promote confidence, and improve academically. Attendees will receive continental breakfast, catered lunch, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and health packets at no cost through funding from the EMC foundation.
