Mentor’s Mother’s and Movers

This event will feature a film by local historian Jim Tillman, followed by a panel discussion highlighting the significant contributions of Black women in Sioux City. The discussion will focus on those who have made impactful strides as trailblazers, mentors, and leaders in founding and growing local organizations. Audience members are encouraged to share their own stories of Black women who have left a lasting legacy through their lives and lessons.
