2nd Annual Black History Ball

IOWA CITY, Iowa — The Iowa City Senior Center’s (ICSC) Original Mature Groovers will hold the second annual Black History Ball in celebration of Black History Month.

This year’s ball will be held on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 7 – 11 p.m. at the Iowa City Senior Center.

With a theme of the Elegance of the Harlem Renaissance, the night will showcase the cultural and artistic expression of African Americans in the 1920’s and 1930’s.
