Community resource picnic hosted by the NAACP of Cedar Rapids

Join the NAACP’s first Better Together Picnic 2–4 PM, June 8, at Bever Park! Free food, family fun & local resource info!

The NAACP Cedar Rapids chapter will host its first-ever Better Together Community Picnic. The picnic will include education on resources available in the Cedar Rapids area. The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 8 at Bever Park Red Oak Pavilion in Cedar Rapids. Free food will be provided at this event. Entertainment for the kids includes face painting and balloons. The organization has invited different community resources to set up booths and speak with those interested in learning about them.
