Celebrate Kwanzaa at the African American Museum of Iowa

Visit the African American Museum of Iowa to celebrate Kwanzaa from 12-3 on Dec. 28. Activities for all and food provided.

The African American Museum of Iowa and Women in NAACP (W.I.N) are joining forces for a Kwanzaa celebration. The event starts at noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27 at the African American Museum of Iowa, 55 12th Ave. SE in Cedar Rapids. The celebration is free for all ages to enjoy with food provided. Attendees will get to engage in activities and learn about the seven principles of Kwanzaa (Nguzo Saba). All are welcome to learn more about the holiday and join in on the celebration.
