Athene’s Black & Brown Business Summit in West Des Moines is underway. The two-day summit runs through April 21. The event, designed to elevate BIPOC-owned businesses (Black, Idigenous and people of color) is in its third year. The summit includes a pitch competition, vendor fair, breakout sessions, award ceremony and networking opportunities.
