Virtual webinar about Iowa anti-DEI laws hosted by COGS

University of Iowa labor union, Campaign to Organize Graduate Students (C0GS) UE local 896, to host a virtual webinar, “Teaching Beyond Fear”. The event will focus on anti-DEI laws and how this will impact those at universities. The webinar will be moderated by Greg Wickenkamp, organizer and acting publicity and press chair for COGS, UE local 896. Wickenkamp will interview Marie Krebs, managing director for Great Plains Action Society, Henry Hamilton III, Esq. civil rights activist, and Courtland Cox, an SNCC leader. The webinar will start at noon on Saturday, Mar. 29 via Zoom.
