Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at Forest Avenue Library
Join Forest Avenue Library’s MLK celebration on Jan. 20 4-5 PM, featuring keynote speaker Deidre DeJear. Doors open 3:30 PM
Deidre DeJear, community leader and President and CEO of Oakridge Neighborhood, will be the keynote speaker for the Martin Luther King Jr. celebration hosted by the Forest Avenue Library. The event will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Forest Avenue Library, 1326 Forest Avenue. All DMPL locations will be closed in observance of MLK day with the Forest Avenue location only open for the event. The event is for all ages and doors will open at 3:30 p.m.
