M.O.G.U.L Consulting presents the inaugural Empowerment Symposium Inspiring Black and Brown professionals to lead. The event will feature keynote speakers from leaders in different industries, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities for attendees. Those who attend the event will have a chance to engage in panel discussions and Q&A sessions with speakers sharing their experiences. Discussion topics include workplace strategies, health care, leadership, economic development, finances, and marketing. In addition to this, participants will get to attend a session about how to become a Targeted Small Business with the Iowa Economic Development Authority.

The “Top Ranks Breaking Barriers” podcast will record live episodes in collaboration with the event. Selected participants to be featured on the podcast will have the opportunity to share their stories and promote their brands. The Empowerment Symposium also partnered with the Summer of the Arts Friday Night Concert Series. Friday evening there will be a concert with live performances from local and regional artists to conclude the event.

The Empowerment Symposium is a two-day event from September 19-20 at the Graduate Hotel in Iowa City, IA. The event aims to provide Black and Brown professionals with the tools they need to succeed.
