Hip-Hope’s Cornbread Festival and summer program coming soon

Hip-Hope Inc. announces the Corn Bred Cornbread Festival on July 27, in Des Moines, and a youth summer program from June 24 to July 30.

Hip-Hope Inc. has announced its upcoming Corn Bred Cornbread Festival and a youth summer program. The program will run from 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. June 24 – July 30, at The Eddie Davis Community Center. Grades 4-12 are eligible to participate in the program. Registration closes June 20, and only 20 spots are available. The Corn Bred Cornbread Festival will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, at Riverview Park in Des Moines. The festival is a public family friendly to embrace Iowa culture. The event will feature food, music, art, fashion, and a showcase of innovative technology. Cornbread Fed Week will occur from July 22 – July 27. Cornbread Fed Week will be filled with activities and educational opportunities for the community leading to the event.
