The history of Black Iowans and their achievements is important, but nothing is more important than helping people register to vote, informing them about the different ways that they can vote and how they can find information on candidates.
Our community has been targeted for voter suppression and misinformation that started at the founding of this country and continues today.
For us to be able to see real changes for our community, we must be able to elect people from our community and that starts with making sure everyone can vote.
